Uncle Larry's Money
A family is ripped apart when close to $1mil is up for grabs

Uncle Larry hadn't updated his will since 1999. In it, he left everything to his parents, disinheriting his two children that he had limited contact with. Before Uncle Larry passed, all of his brothers and his parents died. This left his niece as his heir. But his children are contesting the will. So are his grandchildren. And a second niece born to his half brother. The half brother spent most of his life in and out of jail and did not take care of his daughter, who was adopted out shortly after birth. He had split with the mother, so his name was not on the birth certificate. They reconnected later in life and formed a good relationship before his passed. The first niece is contesting the legitimacy of this niece's claim to Uncle Larry's estate because her birth certificate didn't have her father's name on it, showing she was legitimately his niece. So, they are talking about digging up Uncle Larry's brother to prove her relation. It is a crazy mess full of crazy applications of laws and harsh comments.
